When Preserve Machineries approached us to build the identity for Tosca, their sub-brand specializing in panel processing and solid wood machines, the brief was simple: craft a brand that communicates engineering precision while retaining the warmth of human connection.

The Challenge
Tosca needed an identity that balanced industrial strength with emotional depth. The visual identity had to reflect high-performance machinery while communicating partnership, trust and human values.
Brand Concept & Design Strategy
We built a concept combining technical symbolism with human gestures, so the mark reads as both engineering and empathy — a circular emblem that suggests a cutting wheel and two curved forms like hands coming together.
  • Create a symbol that reads at machinery scale and as a small stamp.
  • Communicate reliability and precision while softening the brand with human cues.
  • Adopt a color and typographic system that supports both industrial and relational messaging.
Symbol — Dual Meaning
The mark uses two abstract curved forms that simultaneously suggest hands meeting (togetherness, support) and a circular cutting wheel (engineering precision). This dual reading reinforces Tosca’s positioning: strength built on relationships.

Color & Material Language
Primary palette pairs an Industrial Red (energy, strength, performance) with Metallic Silver (precision, craftsmanship). The combination feels bold, engineered and refined.
Typography
We selected a bold, clean, modern type treatment that reads engineered and stable without unnecessary complexity — matching Tosca’s mechanical performance and professional character.
Tagline
“Precision with a Human Touch.” — capturing Tosca’s commitment to high-performance machines backed by partnership, service and integrity.
Outcome
Delivered a compact, flexible identity system — mark, color, typography and usage rules — that performs across signage, machine stamping, packaging and digital channels.
